Commission Sheet!

Why choose me?

Who I Am

Art has been my passion since childhood. I grew up watching the golden age of cartoons like Powerpuff Girls, My Life As A Teenage Robot, and Avatar: The Last Airbender (just to name a few that influenced my many styles). I was born in Boston to two Honduran-Jamaican parents and lived in Massachusetts for the biggest part of my life. As an artist, my main goal in my career is to never stop learning and refining my work. I’m always more than excited whenever my customers ask me to draw characters from shows I haven’t even heard about or tell me details for a complex piece that Michelangelo would blush at. Commissioning me is like asking Santa Claus for your Christmas present—I always deliver (reasonably, that is).

My Experience

Being a self-taught artist is a double edged sword. On one hand, I’m able to create visuals that my customers will be more than satisfied with. The originality in my pieces will always be unmatched. On the other hand, this means that I don’t have much to show but technical skill. I didn’t go to art college, I’ve never received an award for my art, and I don’t have any elites that would sing my praises (yet). But if you ever find an animation about Gumball and Dream, know that I made it and garnered 2 million views.

Commission Types

Basic Type

These are the usual commission types across the creative sphere of artists. The cheapest/simplest type with the fastest turn time are doodles. The most expensive/detailed type with the most eye catching quality is Hyper Realism. If you want something to parade around without breaking the bank--or you don't know what you want--I suggest Simple Render. User recommendation leans towards Full Render. Art Style Mimicry/Alt. Styles are the newest additions!

Doodle

$5 DEPOSIT, $20 PER HOUR

Sketch

$10 DEPOSIT, $20 PER HOUR

Rendered Sketch

$15 DEPOSIT, $20 PER HOUR

Lined + Colored

$20 DEPOSIT, $40 PER HOUR

Simple Render

$25 DEPOSIT, $40 PER HOUR

TIP: There are a LOT of options (I mean, seriously! Watch how long you have to scroll to see all of them), so I left a small note at the header of each group type. There's also a small guide right below this paragraph!

Basic Type: one drawing is being done at a time. Counts as a singular commission
- Doodles, Sketches, Rendered Sketch, Lined + Colored, Simple Render, Digital Painting, Hyper Realism, Alternate Styles, Art Style Mimicry
Complex Type: more than one drawing but considered one commission collection
- Comics, Character Sheets, Storyboard/Animatic, Full Animation, Edit Frames, Outfits/Fashion
Business: Created for your brand/company
- Icons/Profile Pictures, Logos, Mascots/Avatars, Business Cards
Miscellaneous: something other than visual art
- Writing, Video Editing

Full Render

$50 DEPOSIT, $60 PER HOUR

Digital Painting

$100 DEPOSIT, $60 PER HOUR

Realism

$200 DEPOSIT, $60 PER HOUR

Alternate Styles

$5-25 DEPOSIT, $20-60 PER HOUR

Art Style Mimicry

$30-60 DEPOSIT, $40-80 PER HOUR

Complex Types

Complex Types involve me drawing multiple things for one commission. The cheapest/simplest type is hard to say since these types, more often than not, involve a video call where I actively draw for the customer so it's done more accurately. A guaranteed long wait would come from a Full Animation commission.

Comic

$10 DEPOSIT, +$10 EACH PAGE, $10-40 PER HOUR

Character Sheets

$50 DEPOSIT, +$50 FOR EACH SHEET, $40 PER HOUR

Storyboard/Animatic

$500 DEPOSIT, $25 EACH FRAME DONE

The style type you choose has to be from the given options from above (basic types). The hourly rate is replaced by pay-per-panel for Comics, pay-per-frame for Storyboard/Animatics, full animations, and edits; and pay-per-unit for Outfits/Fashion. There is an ownership fee for Outfits/Fashion if you wish to create it in real life or have it as a staple for your character's design.

Full Animation

$750 DEPOSIT, $50 PER SECOND

Edit Frames

$20 DEPOSIT, $50 PER FRAME EDIT

Outfits/Fashion

$250 DEPOSIT, $75 EACH OUTFIT, $500 FOR DESIGN OWNERSHIP/RIGHTS

Business

Need something eye-catching to promote for your brand? Look no further! Wanna know a secret? New businesses get 25% off of their commission!

Icons/Profile Pictures

$10 DEPOSIT, $20 FLAT

Logos

$25 DEPOSIT, $100 FLAT, $500 FOR OWNERSHIP/RIGHTS

Thumbnails/Covers

$20 DEPOSIT, HOURLY DEPENDS ON THE STYLE CHOSEN

Just like the Complex Types, the style you want for your choice of commission depends on the aforementioned basic types.

Mascots/Avatars

$50 DEPOSIT, $500 FLAT, $1,000 FOR DESIGN OWNERSHIP/RIGHTS

Business Cards

$25 DEPOSIT, $100 FLAT

Banners

$20 DEPOSIT, HOURLY DEPENDS ON THE STYLE CHOSEN

Miscellaneous

Everything aside from visual art.

Writing

$50 DEPOSIT, IF SHORT, $50 PER 250 WORDS. IF LONG (MORE THAN 1,000 WORDS, $100 PER PAGE

Something else?

Is there something you think is right up my wheelhouse but not listed anywhere? Use the form at the bottom of the home page to give me a heads up! I'm always looking for new ways to expand my creative abilities.

I'm good at more than just illustration, you know! These are newly made additions! Come get it while it's hot!

Video Editing

$70 DEPOSIT, $10 PER SECOND

So, you've hit the bottom...(of the list, of course.)

Not to worry! I have a bunch of talented close friends that I personally look to for services in regards to my art and writing. If you need a proofreader or an excellent social networker, look no further than down here!

....And if you're wondering about something particularly spicy, all prices are the same. Please refer to my list of what I'm willing and not willing to draw to make sure I'm able to deliver. I will say: crazy "interests" that I'm not entirely repulsed/disgusted by will still receive a $50 add on fee.

Doodle Commissions

Doodles are the easiest. Both on your wallet AND on me! I often use doodle commissions as warm ups before really getting into my higher end commissions. Think of it like this: you’ll definitely receive your commission the fastest if you choose this.

Sketch Commissions

Fun fact, these are made with the same brush! The lighter outlines are said brush at 20% or so, which allows me to get a lot of mileage on line weight.

Rendered Sketch Commissions

Whenever I want an easy portrait of a person, I usually default to a rendered sketch. So much so that I was really struggling to figure out which I should show off to really carry the point. Minimal color is optional.

Lined + Colored Commissions

Just need a quick rendition of your faceless OC? You’re in the right place! This style of art ensures that you have a full view of the values you have in mind without compromising the clarity (as opposed to drawing them on a background or using dramatic shading).

Simple Render Commissions

Don’t let “simple” fool you into thinking it’ll come out subpar. You’d be surprised with how far you can go with just cel shading and a couple of gradients!

Full Render Commissions

I’d consider full renders to be a luxury dupe of the sort: less expensive with all the quality you’re looking for in a personal piece.

Digital Painting Commissions

Digital paintings happen to be my favorite commission type to do. The difference between this and a fully rendered piece is the lack of defined outlines. The definition is built up through traditional painting techniques instead of something simpler like crosshatching. Some pieces end up having much more chaos that, when viewed in full, ties everything together perfectly.

Realism Commissions

You can see that there’s a stark difference between the top left/bottom right in comparison to the other three. Realism does indeed refer to making something look as if it’s a real subject, but it comes at the cost of both creative freedom and that bit of “whimsy” in a subject’s demeanor. They fall under the same category regardless, but if you provide me with a reference and tell me to make a 1:1 of it, it may not look as lively as something like the art below this paragraph.

Alternate
Art Styles Commissions

Top left is inspired by the early 2000s chibi style that used to make its rounds in the scene/emo community. Middle left is my personal anime style. Bottom left is an off shoot of early 2010s cartoons. Middle right is a grittier, rough style that has a touch of uncanniness through wide smiles and small irises/pupils. Bottom right is essentially caricature work.

Art Style Mimicry Commissions

I love a challenge, so I consider this medium the most fun to do. I’m willing to learn about other medias in order to master them—just for you!

Writing Commissions

Writing can span from scripts to fanfiction. I will say, if you want me to write about something/someone I don’t know about, then it might be a teeny bit extra so I can consume the content they’re from for utmost accuracy. Honestly, you could even ask me to write an argumentative essay and I’d be down. I wasn’t teacher’s pet in Comp 101 for nothing!

Edit Commissions

Here’s my favorite edit of all time! How funny would it be to commission me for edit frames then ask me to edit them, huh? Sounds like a steal….(combined prices are 50% when you do this, by the way!)

If you’re subscribed to my NSFW Patreon, the tier amount that you pay for is how much you get off the original price of the commission. What I Will and Won't Draw

The human imagination can be a scary place. Hence why I have a few limits to what I'm willing to make for customers. Nothing personal.

WHAT I WILL DRAW:

- People, both fictional and real*- Backdrops/environments- Mechas- Animals, both anthropomorphic and regular- Gore**- Ornate designs- Fantasy creatures- Weapons, fantasy or realistic- Tattoo designs*I rarely care about celebrity drama/notoriety but don't ask me to draw weirdos or criminals (e.g. R. Kelly, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ruby Franke, etc) in a way where they're idolized. If it's a caricature then sure. Otherwise I will have to reject it.**If you are asking me to draw something gory, PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME IRL EXAMPLES. Not only am I able to find my own references like sfx makeup, but I don't want to see that. Movie gore is fine. I'm also not drawing someone real getting brutalized unless it's someone you know and it is with their clear consent (so long as I get to be in on the joke).FOR TEMPORARY SERVICES:
- I will be accepting FULL payment upfront.
- I will keep time if we have a video call.

WHAT I WON'T DRAW:

- Realistic bugs*- Hate speech/politically incorrect cartoons- Ship art of real people**- NFTs. You are also prohibited from turning my art into an NFT.- Symbols from closed religious practices (Hoodoo/Vodou)***- Folklore creatures from sacred cultures (W-ndigos, Sk-nwalkers, etc.)*****There are some bugs I can draw, like ladybugs or ants (in terms of me being comfortable enough to, that is) but I can't stand looking at them for too long. I can draw anthropomorphic ones, though!**Unless you and your partner(s) are the subject of the photo OR you know the people in it, I'm not drawing it.***I have no business drawing this unless you are a practitioner yourself.****Also have no business drawing this unless you belong to this culture.FOR TEMPORARY SERVICES:
- I won't sign a contract.
- I won't work on something for longer than 168 hours (7 days). We can negotiate depending on what it is, but at that point it's become a part time job.

Frequently Asked Questions

No question is a dumb question. Aside from ones that I've already answered.

"How does the commission process go?"

- We have a conversation through whichever platform of choice with explicit details of what you want in the commission (or a physical reference). From there, I begin a mockup. I’ll send the progress during the sketch phase and you’re allowed to ask for revisions at that point in time.
Doodles, flat sketches, and some alternate art styles get up to three revisions post finishing.
Once it’s lined and/or rendered, It will be set in stone. You will then receive the finished piece with a very light implication of my signature over the whole piece (to prevent theft). Once the payment is finalized, you will receive both a regular signature and no signature piece. I’ll send it through email for best quality.

"What's the difference between using it for myself and using it for my brand/company?"

- If you're using it for yourself, you receive two versions of the art: signature and no signature. If you're using it for your brand, business, and anything of the sort, you receive one version of the commission with the signature and a second version without the signature once providing credit and citing back to me on the material they’re showing the art on. Like a social media post.

"How many commissions can I buy in one sitting?"

- As many as you want! Just know that I group up commissions by either how simple it is or how many the customer has requested. For example, I'll do someone else's doodle comm before your full render comm but I'll do your 3 character sheets over someone's one sketch.

"How do you round if it's not finished by an exact time (1 hr and 45 mins vs 2 hours)?"

- I don’t count the single digit minutes and just round up or down. Say if the drawing took 57 minutes and my rate is $20/hr, I’d round it up to an hour. the total would be $20. if the drawing took 23 mins, i’d round down to 20. the total would be roughly $6.50.
